1) EMI Shielding

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is a disturbance that affects an electrical circuit due to either electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic radiation emitted from an external source. The disturbance passes through the air and may interrupt, obstruct, degrade or limit the effective performance and proper operation of the equipment. This is one of the key reasons EMI testing and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing are performed.

Following EMI shielding regulations (CISPR22), it is mandatory for electronic devices to comply with EMI shielding standards. Circuits should be designed to both minimize the amount of electromagnetic radiation that it generates and also to withstand EMI from the environment. Touchscreen Pattern Considersation

Touch module manufacturers have the freedom to determine their preferred touchscreen pattern as our touch films are compatible with the classic two-layer diamond patternbar and strip pattern and single-layer backgammon pattern.

Etching can be done using both dry (laser) and wet (printed resist/DFR) methods.

3) Transparent Heaters

Transparent heaters are visually transparent substrates with electrically conductive coatings. They are typically used for anti-fogging, anti-icing and de-icing of optics and optical displays. Some of the diverse applications include outdoor LCD displays, LED headlamps in automotives, traffic lights, windows, mirrors, camera lenses, touch screens and any others that require light or visual transmittance in cold and moist environments.

SANTE® films are ideal transparent heaters as it has much faster heating rates than ITO-based transparent heaters.
