Touch screen


The majority of touch screen designs rely upon one or more layers of transparent conductor as their sensing electrodes.  From the front of an ATM to the iPhone, such touchscreen markets and applications are growing enormously.


In the case of resistive touch screens, a particularly durable, highly transparent mesh is required, and existing solutions emerge as a weak spot in overall product life span owing to the brittleness of ITO materials.  SANTE™ Films, with a conductive, transparent metallic network address these fundamental design constraints.


For projected capacitive touch screens, the availability of a transparent conductive SANTE™ Film with substantially lower sheet resistance than comparable ITO opens up the design space for electrode geometries and display sizes that otherwise would have been impractical or unattainable.
