Further, the process is adjustable. In addition to generating Ag nanoparticles, Cima offers a Ag/Cu alloy (97.5% Ag, 2.5% Cu) for commercial use. Other custom solutions may be possible if needed, and the technique can be used in a custom basis for other metals.

The particles made by this process are small (approximately 50 nm), and have a narrow particle size distribution. Commercial capacity exceeding several tons per year for Ag particles is already in place.
