EMI Shielding

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters are of growing import in the increasingly wireless communications world.  Designing systems that are both low emitters of radiation as well as insensitive to incoming radiation is critical.  Though various techniques and technologies are capable of addressing the needs for EMI protection for electronic devices and components, a weak link in many devices is in the need for a transparent EMI filter.

Cima’s transparent, conducting SANTE™ Films can be used in a variety of EMI filter contexts.  For instance, conventional flat panel displays (LCDs, touch screens, plasma displays) often need high optical performance filters with robust EMI performance.  SANTE™ Technology allow for a strong combination of shielding effectiveness and transparency to fit these needs.
