Oren Gafri, Senior Partner Millennium Materials Fund.
Mr. Gafri is the Chairman of the Israeli Material & Processes Society (IMPS), Technion, and the chairman of the Israeli Welding Institute (IWI) Ltd. In 1998, Mr. Gafri was elected Entrepreneur of the Year by Tel Aviv University. Mr. Gafri received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. studies in Materials & Process Engineering at Ben-Gurion University (with a specialization in thin films and plasma coating) and completed a Business Administration for Engineers program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with the IAI and the School for Business Administration.
Dr. Geoff C. Nicholson, former Vice President of 3M International Technical Operations
Dr. Nicholson retired from 3M in 2001 after joining 3M in 1963. During Dr. Nicholson’s 3M career, he was instrumental in the development of 3M’s “Post-it” Notes as well as oversaw 2500 3M employees internationally. Dr. Nicholson has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Imperial College, University of London. He has contributed to the following publications: ‘In Search of Excellence’, “Breakthroughs’, and ‘Built to Last’.
Ataru Onuma, Managing Partner of Nikko antfactory
Former Managing Director at CTR Ventures K.K., Mr. Onuma was also Director of Origination and Structured Finance at Rabo Securities NV and a consultant at Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank. Mr. Onuma began his career at Goldman Sachs in 1987 and worked for both its Tokyo and New York offices, serving a variety of roles including Vice President of Mortgages and Asset-Backed Securities. He was in charge of the first Japanese auto loan-backed securitization as a syndication manager. Mr. Onuma graduated from Lewis and Clark College with degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science.
